[.RATHER INTERESTING - EMUSIC DISCOGRAPHY.]

Rather Interesting is the German label formed in 1994 by the talented and prolific Uwe Schmidt, aka Atom Heart, aka a great deal of other things (Senor Coconut, Lisa Carbon, etc..) Formerly resident in Germany, he now lives in Chile, and continues to produce excellent music. Recently, his 2nd Senor Coconut album, featuring Kraftwerk covers, has garnered quite a lot of press, but his back-catalogue on RI rocks too.

So, RI releases mainly CD albums, in very limited editions (generally 500 for Europe and the US and another 500 for the Japanese version!). Just about every release features Atom Heart himself, despite them all having a different pseudonym. Rather Interesting is a great label for digital distribution because it's so difficult to get hold of the albums, and they're all rather obscure but.. well.. rather good.
